Brass Key Design Society

A Thoughtful

Approach to Design

Brass Key Design Society was founded on the belief that well-designed spaces should feel natural, enduring, and comfortable to live in. Every project begins with listening, understanding how a home is used, what matters most to the people living there, and how design can quietly improve daily life.

We focus on custom new construction and large-scale renovations, where thoughtful planning and attention to detail make the greatest impact.

Meet Emily Appleby

With over two decades of residential interior design experience, Emily Appleby brings a steady, practiced perspective to each project.

Her background spans custom homes, whole-home renovations, and detailed kitchen and bath transformations. Over the years, she has developed a strong understanding of how design decisions made early in a project shape the overall outcome.

Emily approaches each home with respect for its architecture and setting. She values materials that age well, layouts that support everyday living, and spaces that feel collected rather than overly styled.

Her work is guided by clarity, collaboration, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship.

How We Work

Designing a home requires more than selecting finishes. It requires coordination, communication, and a clear direction from the beginning.

We work closely with homeowners, builders, and trades to help ensure decisions are made thoughtfully and carried through consistently. From early planning stages to final installation, our role is to guide the process with care and attention.

Our goal is always the same: a home that feels considered, welcoming, and built to last.

Design That Feels Personal and Lasting

We believe that the most successful homes are not driven by trends, but by intention. When every detail is considered and every decision supports how the space will be lived in, the result speaks for itself.

If you are planning a custom build or a significant renovation, we would be honored to be part of the process.
